It is said that Peter did his missionary and evangelistic work as far as Babylon. The Gospel of Mark records Peter’s account of Jesus’ ministry through Mark the Evangelist, his companion, who is widely believed to be John Mark. Other than that, he also plays a major role in the gospels. He was the author of two books in the Bible, 1 Peter and 2 Peter. Peter is one of the most prominent leaders of the early church. Despite how many times he failed and fallen, he recovered his courage and integrity to boldly preach the good news. Although he denied Jesus three times after Jesus’ arrest, Peter redeemed himself after the resurrection. But, he was the natural leader and served as the spokesman among the 12 disciples.
